 Commercial and Residential recycling pick-up

Owners James and ClifTwenty years ago, the first curbside recycling program began to service local communities. Today, there are over 9,000 curbside programs and 12,000 drop off centers. Yet, of the 75 percent of the trash Americans could be recycling, only 25 percent is recycled—perhaps in part because there aren't enough curbside programs servicing wider areas than just inside city limits.

Those who wish to recycle often have to transport it on their own time, in their own vehicles, and sort by hand. In the Wilmington area, many residents have to personally take their recyclables to centers in Wrightsville Beach or to Blair Elementary School. We're beyond the times when only one curbside program was servicing communities and Green Coast Recycling is here to make recycling easier and convenient for both commercial and residential consumers.

We feel like we are successful if we can provide a service that alleviates a burden for our customers, benefits the local environment, stimulates the local economy by creating jobs, as well as benefiting the community through community involvement, charity events and donations.
